Editorial Relevance & Scope Boundaries

Submissions should present a clear medical, clinical, public-health, or healthcare-service question; explain their contribution; and use methods and reporting appropriate to the manuscript type.

Work focused exclusively on unrelated disciplines, promotional content, manuscripts without an identifiable scholarly contribution, or claims unsupported by the presented evidence may be considered outside the journal's scope. Interdisciplinary work is welcome when the connection to human health or healthcare practice is explicit and substantive.

Important: Inclusion in a listed topic does not guarantee acceptance. Manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment followed, when appropriate, by WHJ's double-blind peer-review process.

Research Ethics and Reporting Expectations

Studies involving human participants, patients, identifiable patient information, biological materials, or sensitive health data should describe relevant ethical review, consent, confidentiality safeguards, and permissions as applicable. Clinical studies should follow suitable field-specific reporting guidance, and authors must accurately distinguish findings from interpretation.

WHJ encourages appropriate use of recognized reporting guidance such as CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA, and CARE when relevant to the study design. These examples do not replace the journal's official submission requirements.
